Jonathan Chapman serves at the Empowerment Network in a variety of capacities. He applies his various skills, experiences, and abilities to nearly every initiative of the Empowerment Network in some form or fashion.

In 2018, Jonathan joined the Empowerment Network as a Step-Up Omaha Summer Coach and has since added support for Omaha 360 and more recently, the Adopt-A-Block Initiative via the Village Pastors & Faith Leaders Collaborative to his areas of focus.

In the community, he currently serves as Board Chair for the Hartman Avenue Neighborhood Association, board member for the North Omaha Joint Community Ministries Advisory Board, and together he and his wife serve as members of the Principal’s Advisory Committee at Nelson Mandela Elementary School where he also coaches basketball.

In addition to his work at the Empowerment Network, Jonathan serves as the Founder and Senior Pastor (Head Coach) of Church On Purpose. Jonathan and his wife Jene’ live in North Omaha with their four children David, Jada, Joseph, and Maya.
