Project Coordinator & Office Assistant:
Aisha Conner

Aisha Conner is the Project Coordinator and Office Assistant for the Empowerment Network. For nearly five years, Aisha has been the first line of connection for the community as the smiling face you see when entering the office or pleasant voice you hear on the phone.

Affectionately known as the “Village Connector”, Aisha has an amazing ability to make the connections between people and the resources they need. Her role introduces her to the wide variety of businesses and organizations all across the city of Omaha, and her natural ability to identify the common thread enables her to quickly connect people to just the right business or organization.

A gifted event organizer and planner, Aisha coordinates one of the largest and most successful annual black vendor showcases as a part of the annual Christmas in the Village community celebration hosted by the Empowerment Network and community partners every year at the historic 24th and Lake.

A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Aisha received her Associates Degree in Business Management from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She later worked as a Center Manager at AT&T Telecommunications before launching out into the world of entrepreneurship as the owner and operator of Kingdom Klothing Boutique. The boutique found so much success that a second location was opened and operated prior to her transition to serving at the Empowerment Network.

Aisha and her husband Carleton have four children and 2 grandsons.
