Director of Omaha 360°
Jami Anders-Kemp, manages and facilitates the Omaha 360 Collaboration, a community-based violence prevention and intervention initiative of the Empowerment Network in partnership with the City of Omaha, Douglas County, and the Office of Violence Prevention.
Through community wide meetings, forums and working taskforce committees, Jami develops long-term partnerships and projects with a diverse group of stakeholders – all working together to drive the holistic strategies that data has shown to reduce gun violence and increase positive alternatives. In addition to her partnership responsibilities, Jami convenes an Omaha 360 Advisory Team whose subject-matter expertise help guide the strategic and marketing plans that ensure the Omaha 360 Collaboration not only has strong brand recognition but that an accurate story of violence reduction and community progress is communicated in traditional and social media.
Prior to joining the Empowerment Network, Jami worked with Heartland Workforce Solution, engaging workforce partners, businesses, educational institution and community organizations to address workforce development gaps and opportunities in the local area. Jami also made positive contributions for many years at CHI Health (Alegent Health) where she developed and delivered training across the organization, conducted departmental need assessments and managed executive recruitment activities. Jami is a life-long resident of Omaha and a graduate of the College of Saint Mary, where she studied Business Leadership.
