Safety & Justice Reform

The Safety & Justice Reform covenant area is known as our Omaha 360 Collaboration (link to Omaha 360 page). Omaha 360 is focused on ensureing every person lives in a safe neighborhood. The Omaha 360 collaboration is home to the Empowerment Network’s violence prevention and intervention programs and activities. Partners have birthed programs such as the Game Changers, PrayWalks and Harmony Week. Omaha 360 also serves as a strategic partner of the RISE program in partnership with the City of Omaha, Omaha Police Department, PRPG and Probation.

Goals:

  • Prevention: Expand efforts related to healing, school outreach, employment, conflict resolution, mentoring, positive activities and juvenile justice
  • Intervention: Expand efforts related to street outreach, gang intervention, crisis response, family support and hospital intervention
  • Reentry and support services: Provide stronger support and services including pre-release training, education and employment
  • Justice & Civil Rights: Justice reform, voting rights, police/community relations, housing and employment discrimination etc.
