Faith & Hope

The Faith & Hope covenant is exemplified thorugh our Pastors, Ministers and Faith Leaders Collaboration and is focused on ensuring every person has hope and the opportunity to reach their full potential. This collaboration has birth the Adopt-A-Block initiative (link to adopt a block initiative page) and Church-based economic summits. Participants within this collaboration are also heavily involved with Omaha 360.

Goals:

  • Outside the walls approach: Expand Adopt-A-Block Neighborhood Partnerships, prayer walks and family support
  • Youth outreach and community engagement: Expand events, activities and ministries for children and youth
  • Church-based economic strategies: Support African-American, North Omaha and other businesses that invest in the community
  • Common community language and measures: Use Hope Measures, 40 Assets and the Empowerment Covenant
