Partnered with the African-American Unity Fund to host workshops for small, grassroots organizations and provide $600,000 to small non-profits for community work;

Partnered to launch the Great Summer Program providing life skills, work experience, internships, and educational training to over 700 youth and young adults;

Gained financial commitments to help with Neighborhood Redevelopment and Violence Intervention efforts;

Hosted the 1st North Omaha Green Economy Workshop; focused on jobs, job training, and neighborhood development;

Partnered with other organizations to host the 1st Omaha Economic Summit; diverse leaders from every sector;

Working with organizations to connect North Omaha residents with job readiness classes, job training, job placement, and job opportunities; and, working with partners to create innovative new models for summer employment, academics, life skills, and work experience.
